Phase VIII - Reviewing
Competency Profiles need to be reviewed periodically to ensure that they still support the business results of the organization. If the roles within the organization change, this can impact the competencies required to successfully perform in that role. Usually, management initiates the review with the assistance and support of the HR function. A consultant can advise HR on the best approach to take in conducting its review of the competency profiles.
